St Patrick Day on the Bayou
Paddle races, fun, food and live music
March 17th
Friends of Bayou Lafourche is proud to sponsor St. Patrick’s Day on the Bayou. The event will include a series of paddle races followed by a social area with food & drink vendors, and live music. Gates open and food ready for purchase at 1PM. Live music will begin at 5pm with Russ Cheramie Acoustic and The Soul Survivors at 7PM. Paddle Down da Bayou 2018
Family 5-mile paddle, fun, music crawfish , community !

Do you hear it ? The bayou is calling you! Yes, you! Time again to grab your paddle, your non-motorized boat and buddies and join us for the fifth annual Paddle Down Da Bayou coming up on Saturday, April 7, at 8 am on Bayou Petit Caillou in Chauvin, LA. Launch site this year is at 6090 Hwy 56 at the privately owned LLMAP camp. This is a laid back family friendly 5 mile paddle trip with a rest stop at Chauvin Sculpture Garden with end site at 5160 Hwy 56 Terrebonne Parish Government private boat launch. A post paddle crawfish boil with music, kid activities, door prizes and volleyball games follow at the Little Caillou Volunteer Fire Department pavilion located approximately 1 mile up the bayou from the end site. A limited number of single and double kayak rentals are available for $15 per boat, but must be requested and paid for by March 23, Pre-Registration Deadline. Paddle boards can be rented by contacting Fallon Ellender online @ Calypso ‘s Bayou Paddleboarding Company. Registering before March 23 insures the paddler the desired sized T-shirt and name listed on the back of the shirt! Fees: 18 and older-$35; 8-17-$25; 7 and under with a registered parent is free with an option to purchase a T-shirt and meal for $10 each. Intro to SUP Yoga ( foundations)
Level 1 ( vinyasa flow)
Level 2 ( vinyasa flow with Acro/ Partner) and also monthly Restorative SUP Yoga classes! 🔥
All classes are adaptable for Everybody. Learn to connect and expand your practice of yoga with the body, breath, board , water and the beautiful coastal environment ⚜️ You will also have the chance this season to practice SUP Yoga at our beautiful beach , Grand Isle ! See you on the board
